Position Summary:
The TQM Director is responsible for the overall operation, planning, direction and control of the Quality Improvement function of the Medical Center. The TQM Director is also responsible for ensuring that the facility is compliant with JCAHO, Medicare , federal/state and other legal regulatory agencies. The TQM Director works closely with the Risk Manager.

Requirements
Three to five years experience in a management position or health care administration preferred with high level of supervisory capacity. Experienced in JCAHO, Medicare and various federal/state regulations governing health care.

Must have Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas.

Good management skills and knowledge. Excellent organizational skills. High level of interpersonal skills with ability to deal constructively on a one to one basis with physicians, nurses, managers and administration. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Diplomatic skills with ability to work under stressful situations and to manage multiple functions simultaneously. Ability to organize, plan and coordinate work effectively. Ability to analyze, synthesize, report and manage patient care information. Ability to work flexible hours as needed or required. Must pass the NCB (Nurse Career Battery) test to be considered for employment. Current CPR.
