Where do the nurse leads come from?
Unlike other data brokers reselling modified nurse license databases or public phone databases, our leads come to us directly from nurses themselves who register on our nursing sites because they are seeking employment. We offer nurses a convenient short form application as we understand that nurses are already overburdened with application paperwork. With our system, nurses can broadcast their qualifications and preferences to interested employers and receive automated notifications of jobs we feel may be of interest.
When nurses are hired do employers pay a "finder's fee"?
Never!!! You do not have to pay any kind of fee to hire a nurse we provide. Our business model is to provide the highest quality leads we can and you pay only for the leads you choose. There are no hidden fees with our product.
What regions do you cover? Where do you have leads?
Our coverage is national and we receive registrations from thousands of job seekers with a variety of clinical skill sets from all 50 states across the U.S.
What data do your leads contain?
Leads contain Profession (e.g. Registered Nurse, LVN, NP, etc.), Expertise (e.g. ER, Cath Lab, Wound Care, etc.), residential address, email address, phone number(s), states where nurses are licensed, employment type desired (travel, per diem or permanent), shift preference (day, evening or night) and desired work locations by state. Some leads even contain full resumes.

Can I purchase additional nurse leads to add to my account?
Absolutely. Contact us at anytime to add additional leads to your existing account.
If I do not have a credit card, how do I make a payment?
Not a problem at all. Enter your information in the Offline Payment tab and an invoice will be emailed to you. Once we receive payment, you can start posting jobs, obtaining leads and filling your job openings!
How do you recommend I make best use of my NursingJobs.us service?
Employers have found that utilizing these 3 main services in concert is the best way to maximize ROI and "work closest to the dollar":
1. Post your open or forecasted job orders so nurses can start applying directly for your current and upcoming job requisitions.
2. Add Saved Searches targeting your job openings to acquire nurses who are seeking employment and might match one of your positions.
3. Search the Nurse Database and acquire leads that match the criteria you are seeking to fill your current or future job openings.
How does the lead service work? Do my leads expire at the end of month?
Based on your recruiting package, we offer a generous allotment of leads for use each month and you may use up to your maximum allotment by month's end. Unused leads do not "rollover" to the next month. If you need to upgrade your package, do not hesitate to contact us at 1-800-243-3407.
What is the most effective way to recruit these leads?
The most efficient and cost effective way to recruit nurses is to buy high-quality leads targeted to the jobs an employer has to offer. Targeting by location, profession, expertise or known employment preferences gives employers the best chance to find the right nurses for their open jobs. The vast majority of nurses are expecting to be contacted by prospective employers and recruiters through phone or email. In our experience, recruitment by phone results in the most hired nurses with email being a more cost-effective medium but one that converts to hire at a lesser rate than phone. In our experience, direct mail is one of the least cost-effective ways to recruit nurses in general and our leads are no different in this regard.
If a candidate applies to one of my job orders, does it count against my available leads total?
Absolutely not. Those candidates who apply to your job postings do not count against your available leads total for the month.
What is the most effective way to post a job?
The difference between finding mediocre candidates and extraordinary candidates can be a good job posting. Job postings that are targeted, descriptive and attention grabbing will help attract more quality nurse candidates!
How long does a job posting last and how do I manage my postings?
A job posting remains open for 60 days once posted. You always have the option to extend the posting for an additional 30 days before it expires. Click the Job Title in the My Jobs page and choose "Extend Listing" at the bottom of the page. You can also edit the job details by clicking the "Edit Listing" link on the right side of any job listing. When you fill your posted job, you will want to close your job posting by entering the Job Listing and clicking the "Close Listing" button.
How does the Nurse Database work?
In the Nurse Database, employers can apply filters to our database to target the types of nurses they need. As filters are applied, a dynamic count of matching leads is displayed on the right of the page. Once the employer is satisfied with the criteria, a slider bar is employed to select a quantity to acquire. Upon clicking the Add Leads button, the leads are immediately made available in the My Leads area. When purchasing a subset of a pool of leads, the leads are served up from newest to oldest by registration date.
Can I search the database to find a specific type of candidates for a current opening?
Of course, you can always access the Nurse Database to search for a specific candidate. You can filter your search in a variety of ways based on Profession, Expertise, Resident State, Zip Code radius search, Licensure State, Employment Type, Shift Preference and desired work location. If you want to search for ICU RN's licensed in California who are seeking travel opportunites, you can do it! You can even search for candidates who have registered recently; and, don't forget to run an Advanced Search within My Leads to see if you have already acquired a lead that might qualify for one of your newer job searches.
When adding leads from the Nurse Database, will nurses I've already obtained as live leads or applicants appear in the results?
Absolutely not. If you have already acquired the lead the nurse will not be available to add again from the Nurse Database.
How do I access Live Leads with Saved Searches?
Live leads are an incredibly valuable recruitment asset. After all, they allow an employer to connect with a specific type job seekers as they are applying for help finding jobs. When nurses register that match a prescribed criteria, the lead is automatically captured and an optional notification email is sent to the employer. To get started, enter the Live Leads section, click the Add a Saved Search tab and tailor your search to target the jobs you need to fill. You may save up to 100 searches and even set monthly spending limits and assign unique email targets to each.
With Live Leads, can 2 or more users be notified via email when a lead arrives?
Yes. When you Add a Saved Search or edit a Saved Search, enter the email addresses separated by a semi-colon. (e.g. name1@nursingjobs.us; name2@nursingjobs.us)
How does the Monthly distribution method work for obtaining Live Leads?
When you add or edit a Saved Search, you may choose between Monthly and ASAP under Distribution Method. (All newly added searches default to ASAP) The difference is simple, with ASAP, you receive live leads as they come in real time up to your monthly limit. With the Monthly setting, we do our best to distribute your chosen monthly limit of leads evenly over the course of the month
Can I use a different email address than the one that I registered with for live leads and job posting notifications?
Yes, you may set up unique default email addresses for live leads and job postings within My Account and even change to different target addresses for individual saved searches and job postings when creating them.
Can I purchase additional Job Postings?
If you need to upgrade your package or add additional job postings to your plan, do not hesitate to contact us at 1-800-243-3407.
How do I submit my advertisement and create my company profile page?
If you have an active package which includes advertising, click on the 'Advertise on NursingJobs.us' link at the bottom of your employer dashboard page. From there you can add your logo, button as and company profile information. If you have questions, please contact us at 1-800-243-3407.
How do I return to the employer dashboard?
Once logged into your account, you can return to the account dashboard from any page by clicking on the NursingJobs.us logo.
How do I update my account information?
Once logged into your account, click on My Account in the upper right of your screen. From there, you can update or change your contact information, password, and even manage your email notifications.
